SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY
Françoise Davoine
Françoise Davoine and Jean-Max Gaudillière have worked as psychoanalysts at a public psychiatric hospital during thirty years, and in private practice. They are currently professors at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Science Sociales in Paris and both have advanced degrees in classics (French, Latin and Greek literature) and doctorates in sociology.

Jean-Max Gaudillière is an alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure rue d'Ulm in Paris. Both were members of the Ecole Freudienne de Paris, until the death of Jacques Lacan (1981). They are supervisors and training analysts. They are members of the International Symposium for the Psychotherapy of Schizophrenia (US branch) created by Gaetano Benedetti.
