Carl Honoré
Carl Honoré is an award-winning journalist and author. He worked with street children in Brazil before turning to writing. He has covered Europe and South America for the Economist, Observer and others.

His first book, In Praise of Slow, investigates our compulsion to hurry and chronicles a global trend toward putting on the brakes. It is translated into more than 30 languages and is an international bestseller. His new book, Under Pressure, explores how the modern approach to childhood is backfiring, and examines efforts around the world to find a better way.

He lives in London with his wife and their two young children.
