MINDFULNESS, RESILIENCE AND HARMONY
A 6-day Summer School-Retreat for Practitioners
SUNDAY 14 JULY - FRIDAY 19 JULY 2013
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Following the success of last year's summer school, our 2013 retreat for psychotherapists will offer a fresh collection of pleasurable, rejuvenating and restorative events for practitioners interested in their own well-being and the sustainability of their psychotherapeutic practice. Combining workshops with an ongoing conversation about the challenges of practicing psychotherapy, this year's programme has been carefully created to demonstrate the possibility of approaching our professional lives in a way that energises and restores rather than depletes one's personal resources. Restorative yoga, human ecology, singing, mindfulness, visual medicine, movement therapy, eco-psychology and group processing will be combined with periods for rest, walks or cultural activities at beautiful Dartington Hall. All the events are optional; above all the week is about being rather than striving.
